Individual Therapy
I offer 60-minute individual therapy sessions for adults (18+) throughout Connecticut via telehealth.
Individual therapy provides a dedicated space to slow down, talk through what's on your mind, and work toward meaningful, lasting change. Every session is tailored to your unique needs, goals, and experiences—there's no one-size-fits-all approach.
Fees & Payment
I believe that understanding the cost of therapy should be simple and straightforward. Below you'll find information about my fees, payment policies, and what to expect before getting started.
Session Fees
Initial Intake Session (60 min): $175
Individual Therapy Session (60 min): $150
Payment is due at the time of your session and can be made securely through the client portal using a debit card, credit card, or HSA/FSA card.
Private Pay Practice
I am a private-pay practice and do not bill insurance directly.
Many clients choose private pay because it offers greater privacy, flexibility, and allows treatment to be based on your individual needs rather than insurance requirements.
If you have out-of-network benefits, I can provide a superbill that you may submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. Please note that reimbursement is not guaranteed and depends on your individual insurance plan.
Sliding Scale
A limited number of reduced-fee appointments are available for clients experiencing financial hardship.
If cost is a barrier, please don't hesitate to ask about current availability.
Free Consultation
Finding the right therapist is important.
I offer a free 15-minute phone consultation so you can ask questions, share what you're looking for, and decide whether we're a good fit before scheduling your first appointment.
Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, I ask for at least 24 hours' notice.
Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours' notice or missed without notice may be charged the full session fee, except in cases of emergencies or extenuating circumstances.
Good Faith Estimate
Under the No Surprises Act, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate explaining the expected cost of your mental health care services.
A Good Faith Estimate will be provided before services begin and is available upon request.

If you have any questions about fees, payment, or scheduling, I'm happy to help. Please feel free to reach out before your first appointment.

What the Therapy Process Looks Like
Getting Started
We'll begin with a 60-minute intake session where we'll talk about what brought you to therapy, what's been feeling difficult, and what you're hoping to get out of the experience. This is also a chance for us to get to know each other and make sure we're a good fit.
Creating a Plan
Once we have a better understanding of your needs, we'll identify goals for therapy. These goals can change over time, and we'll adjust our approach as your needs evolve.
Ongoing Sessions
Most sessions last about 60 minutes and are held virtually through a secure HIPAA-compliant video platform.
Sessions are guided by what's most important to you. Some weeks you may have something specific to process, while other weeks we'll focus on learning new skills, working toward your goals, or checking in on your progress.
Therapy is collaborative—you'll never be expected to have all the answers before you walk in.
During Sessions, We May...
Explore what's contributing to your stress or anxiety.
Identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck.
Learn coping skills that you can use outside of therapy.
Practice setting boundaries and improving communication.
Work through difficult emotions or life transitions.
Celebrate progress—even the small wins count.
Every person's therapy journey looks different, and we'll adjust our work based on what feels most helpful for you.
